Rebecca Sonnenshine is a writer and producer and graduate of UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. In addition to attending the Berlinale Talent Campus, the Film Independent Director's Director was awarded a Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. She produced the feature films Reversion (2008), which had its Sundance Film Festival premiere, and Bunny (2000), which was nominated for a Spirit Award. Her credits as a screenwriter include Within, American Zombie, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, Happily Even After, The Housemaid, and The Housemaid 2. She also wrote on The Vampire Diaries and The Boys.

Rebecca was five years old when she read the Little House on the Prairie books which helped develop her love of reading and planted the desire be a storyteller. Today, she’s the screenwriter and showrunner taking us back into the world of Little House on the Prairie.
